Paper Mache

I've been experimenting with paper mache since 2015, taking inspiration from artists like Dave Mckean, Jim Henson, and the Bread and Puppet Circus. In 2024, I began diving into giant puppetry, creating puppets as large as 20ft x 10ft to be used in activism, theatre, and celebration. Puppetry is a magical vessel for myth, inviting people to consider the deeper stories at root, it is also an incredibly resourceful art practice that primarily uses recycled, reclaimed materials, disrupting the waste stream.
